When you hear the word “re-purpose” what first comes to mind? Do you think of someone “copying and pasting” their sales letter and putting it online? Maybe you think of someone having an audio recording transcribed and then calling it an “ebook.” While the term “re-purpose has gotten a bad reputation there are marketing methods you can put into action that will save you time and help you generate more leads from each piece of marketing that you create.

1. Videos – When you are recording videos you are separating yourself from your competition. Most business owners and individuals only think of YouTube when they think of video but you can have a much greater reach than that. To give yourself advantages with video consider posting your videos to other sites. Write different descriptions each time you post the video to see which description piques interest most. Don’t stop at third party sites either, write a article or blog post about the video topic and include the video on your site.

2. Sales Letters – If you haven’t mailed out that sales letter in awhile it’s time to dust it off! With some minor enhancements sales letters can be quickly moved online. The most obvious would be to make your traditional sales letter an online sales letter, but think bigger than that! Look at the pages of your letter and see which parts could be made a smaller article or page. You can post those pieces as articles, blog posts, or even a note on Facebook. You could transform 1 letter into 5 or 6 different pieces and spread it across different platforms.

3. Postcards – Due to their visual nature postcards are one of the most logical pieces to make the transition to your online marketing. Have your designer give you a simple digital version of your postcard to allow you to extend your reach. For example if you had a postcard that was about a sale you could write a blog post about that sale with the postcard right as the very first image they see. The copy that you couldn’t fit on the postcard could easily become your article. Use that same image over on your fan page as well (Facebook loves photos).

Re-using different pieces of your marketing does take an investment in time, but it is much quicker than creating 6 or 7 different new pieces of marketing daily. Get the most out of each piece you develop to start increasing your leads today.

Discover how you can make each piece of marketing a system that generates leads daily for your business with my FREE Small Business Marketing Manifesto.

Fitness Boot camp is becoming very popular now with people having no time to go to gym regularly or exercise. The main attraction of a fitness boot camp is no lock in contracts or setting aside time every week, its just random. That’s the beauty you can do it whenever you feel like. Just a few hours and ‘still get great results without much commitment’. Focus on this and marketing a fitness boot camp will become a lot simpler.

Ask anybody and they will all agree that personal trainers can make you do more than you would do along in a gym or a treadmill at home. They can keep your motivation going for the full session and inspire you to give your best and break records. This happens only in personal training.

A good boot camp is one which is effective with great programs. Also choose your location and programs that are effective. So whatever few hours people spend in doing those activities should give them great results.

If you have access to a gymnasium or local leisure centre, they are the best places to advertise boot camps. For a change its an alternative workout. That is when they will want to try boot camps instead. To make it more convincing, offer money back guarantee, so people trust you more. Customer is everything in your business, stay in touch with them old and new. You could do mailouts to remind them of boot camps in their busy life. If you can spend money, nothing to beat a advertisement in a newspaper. Get a popular personality to join your camp.

If you are in a city or town with big organizations, contact them. As the number will be big, you can give them corporate memberships and discounts. In a hectic world of career and family, boot camps are easy fixes to feel good. You can also offer gift certificates and $5 trial sessions to attract some new people.

You can meet people to explain that its teamwork, but finally you get individual results because of healthy competition. Happy customers will tell their friends and family. If you already have some customers, use them. Tempt them with discounts for their next boot camp.

Always remember that your marketing message should standout from other advertisements. You must try to talk to people and reach out to them at their own personal basis. The local paper is a very cost effective medium for business. So are the community messages at libraries and schools. Make sure your advertisement has all main information like the price, time, place and boot camp activities.

Marketing a fitness boot camp can be challenging, but you can make it happen with the right personal trainer tools It can get your business for the long term. However this depends on your location and local people. Just focus on what you can do for them. It should be clear – a lot more for little in a easy way without compromise. Kickbacklife.com is a great resource for all of your personal training business needs

Get Your Online List’s Home Address and Phone Number – I spoke about this on the call. One technique Gary Halbert used was to ask his list for their home address, because he wanted to send them something to help them with their marketing. Then he sent them a lumpy mail package. But he got their home address. Now he can send them direct mail pieces and cut through all the email clutter by bypassing it completely (well, actually by supplementing it). Yanik Silver mentioned this as well. He obtains their home phone number and sends them a voice broadcast (see above). Joe Vitale does this too. So does Bill Glazer. Hmm, if all of these top marketers use this technique, do you think it works?

Going Out of Business – If a business with the same target market as yours is going to shut down soon, why not acquire their customer list? Most brick and mortar businesses consider liquidating their inventory or equipment, but not all of them are savvy enough to sell their customer list. That could be a huge opportunity for you.

Alternate Franchise – You know most franchises cost big bucks to buy into. Let’s say you have a profitable cleaning business that’s not a franchise, with your own system for success. You can teach this system to others and sell it for much cheaper than a franchise would go for. Here’s an example of a company that does just that: http://www.my-mag-uk.com. I essentially do that with entrepreneurs. I teach them my marketing system (which as you probably know most entrepreneurs don’t know a lot about effective marketing), and they gain a doubled or tripled profit margin as a result.

Or, you could locate such a successful company yourself, learn their system, and teach it to others in the same manner.

to be continued….
